Lisa was raised in the Bay Area and earned her degree in Environmental Studies and Sociology from UC Santa Cruz. Before beginning her graduate studies in Counseling Psychology at JFK University, she worked with somatic practices.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Lisa draws on evidence-based methods including CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and somatic therapy to provide individualized care. Her clinical experience spans work with clients with disabilities, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), and community-based counseling. She values the healing potential of a strong therapeutic relationship and is committed to fostering self-awareness and meaningful personal growth with her clients.

Lisa takes a holistic approach to guiding clients through self-discovery, integrating techniques such as mindfulness, body scanning, breathwork, and cognitive reframing to support the mind-body connection. She focuses on providing practical, compassionate tools to foster self-acceptance, build self-esteem, and enhance resilience. With extensive experience supporting individuals across the gender spectrum and LGBTQ2S+ communities, Lisa offers affirming, personalized care for a range of challenges, including anxiety, anger, neurodivergence, and developmental disabilities.
