Suman (she/her) is a second-generation Punjabi American, cisgender female who is queer identified. She finds herself invested in social justice efforts personally and professionally. When she is not at work, you can find her lost in the woods or sitting by the water, always prioritizing time with her friends and family, and looking for the next new thing to try. She adores her pets, eating new food, and sipping tea. She received her B.A. from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2020. A bit later, in 2022, she acquired a M.A. from Pacific University, located in the pacific northwest. And lastly, she earned her PsyD in 2025 from Pacific University, formally located in Forest Grove, Oregon.

Suman’s clinical interests include working with minoritized communities and folks with intersecting identities. It is her goal to support students in expanding their understanding of themselves in the contexts of their own life circumstances. She has clinical interest in working with a range of identity factors including people of color, LGBTQIA+ identifying adults, first-generation and international students. Her approach is rooted in liberation psychology and fosters an interpersonal processing style when exploring one’s past experiences. She works to share useful skills and activities that promotes a collaborative environment when working towards a student’s therapeutic goals. Suman has practiced in diverse clinical settings including community mental health, private group practices, and within college mental health systems. She loves to foster safe community spaces and provide opportunities for holistic care.
